        On the K-3981 if the yellow seal has been replaced and it is still leaking what is the other seal that needs to be replaced?

                We have had this toilet for a year and now the lever will not automatically return to the 'start' position after you flush. Therefore the canister stays up and water will continually flow. We now have to manually push the lever down after every flush. Really annoying. We had tried everything to fix it , but no luck. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

                    Really nice toilet. Although I never expected I be writing a review for a toilet, this one deserves the praise. It’s not only comfort height, but the included toilet seat is raised so it’s really comfortable. I love that it’s one piece. The downside is that being one piece, it’s super heavy. So I paid a plumber to install it rather than asking my husband to break his back. The plumber did have to move the water line since the base comes out wider. But it didn’t take him much to do so.

                    Easy to install, no special tools, no drilling. Easier to keep clean. Very powerful flush. Saves water, EPA approved. There’s a lot to like about this one piece toilet and after installing our second one, it would be hard to go back to a two piece. Kohler have come up with a very clever method for installation where you just bolt a plastic “trapway” to the ring in the floor and the toilet fits over that fitting quickly and easily. The easy to read diagram instructions clearly show the installation which really only takes about 30 minutes at most. The only parts you’ll need is a new wax ring and two T-bolts as those aren’t included. The water line from our old toilet was not long enough to reach the new Kohler so we did need to buy a 16 inch water line as well. This toilet is about two inches taller than the average, and is a comfortable chair height, making it much easier to sit down and especially to stand up. The flush is quick and powerful, almost like a vacuum flush. I like how it releases the flushing water completely around the inside of bowl which reduces cleaning that hard-to-keep-clean space, and the flush lever is hidden on the side of the tank. As well, this toilet comes with a very sturdy quality elongated slow closing lid and seat of hard plastic that wipes clean with little effort. Apart from the practical advantages mentioned above, this one piece Kohler is elegant. It has a simple stylish shape, and the “molding” on the tank matches the “molding” on the bottom of the skirt. Modern and classy. It truly looks like the somewhat expensive toilet that it is, and we are thrilled with our purchase.

                    Love everything about this toilet.
                    Was recommended by a friend that just finished renovating her home. Flat top, simple design and the base is so easy to keep clean! The plumber did not love installing but he was successful! The handle took a little getting used to.

The directions where clear / easy to follow (first time installing this type of toilet). The end result is a very simple, solid toilet.                       This is one good looking toilet. The Kohler Tresham 1-piece 1.28 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet with AquaPiston Flush Technology in White was the easiest toilet install I have ever completed. The Kohler ReadyLock system not only simplifies the installation, it also allows one to seat the toilet multiple times without worrying about and/or having to replace the wax ring. This is due to the wax ring being placed directly on the ReadLock mounting system which is mounted to the floor. The ReadyLock system has a built in flange that only requires a standard wax ring during install. Positioning/setting the toilet during the installation is extremely straight forward. Once the toilet is in position, gentle downward pressure seats the toilet on the mounting hardware that is already mounted to the floor. The toilet itself is a 1 piece unit aside from the tank cover and it also came with a slow-closing seat. The only 'con' I can think of is one would think a toilet this expensive would come with T-bolts and nuts. No big deal as they may be able to be reused or can always be purchased when buying a new wax ring for the installation. I would definitely recommend this toilet for both looks and functionality.

                      This is a great toilet! It's a little pricier than your average toilet, but it looks and functions great and has a luxe look. I had my plumber install the toilet as part of a bathroom renovation. The toilet was the last thing to arrive and even though everything was already in place there were no problems putting this in--fit all the standard plumbing hookups we already had in place. It's a nice, classic look with just enough to detail to add some interest (but not so much that it draws attention, not exactly what you want to have as your focus). I used it with a sink and shower that were from different lines and it still flows nicely in the design. The bottom is so streamlined that it's a breeze to clean--barely any places for dust and dirt to cling. Function is great, too. A nice smooth flush--the pull the handle and the perfect amount of water flushes.

                      Very fancy toilet. This toilet definitely made my bathroom look a lot nicer than it did. Being that this is a one piece toilet it comes shipped in one big box. Pretty heavy and comes with a lot of packaging. Installation was pretty simple. Just a little heavy. Mine did not come with the bolts and the wax ring which i though was a little odd for the price of the toilet. Has newer more powerful flushing technology which doesn't allow build up to happen as easily. Comfort height is great unless you have children who are trying to potty train.
